Information we obtain from third parties

We may maintain pages on social media platforms, such as LinkedIn, and other third-party platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, the platform provider's privacy policy will apply to your interactions and their collection, use, and processing of your personal information.

Such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, browsing history, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, duration of access, and whether you have opened our marketing emails or clicked links within them.

How We Use Your Personal Information

To provide, operate, maintain, and secure our website and services.
To communicate with you, including responding to requests, providing support, and sending announcements, surveys, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
To improve, monitor, and personalize our website, including understanding your needs and interests.
For research and development, including analyzing and improving our services. We may create aggregated, de-identified, or anonymous data from personal information we collect.

Google User Data

How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used solely to provide and improve SkillGPT's features. For example: Gmail can be used to trigger workflows; Calendar events are used to perform automations; Google Profile information is used to identify your account and personalize your experience. We never use Google user data for advertising or for training AI models.

Google User Data We Collect

If you choose to connect your Google account, SkillGPT may access: Google Profile information (e.g., name, email address). Depending on the OAuth scopes you grant, we might also access: Gmail metadata, Calendar events, Drive file metadata, Contacts. We only request the minimum scopes required to provide SkillGPT's functionality.

Disclosure of Google User Data

We do not share Google user data with third parties except as required to operate SkillGPT (e.g., secure cloud hosting, analytics, or support providers who are contractually bound to confidentiality and security). We never sell Google user data.

Data Retention & Deletion of Google Account Data

  • Active use: We keep your Google Profile data (e.g. name, email) for the entire time your account is active with us.
  • After account deactivation or unlinking: We remove or irreversibly anonymize this data within 30 days.
  • Backups and logs: Copies may persist in encrypted backups or system logs for up to 180 days, but are not used for any purpose other than disaster recovery and security investigations.
  • Email privacy@skillgpt.io with the subject line "Google Data Deletion Request". We will confirm deletion within 5 business days.

You may also revoke SkillGPT's access to your Google data at any time via your Google Account permissions settings.

How We Disclose Your Personal Information

Affiliates

We may disclose your personal information to our subsidiaries and affiliates for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Service providers

We may disclose your personal information to third party companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf (such as lawyers, bankers, auditors, insurers, customer support, hosting, analytics, email delivery, marketing, and database management).

We may disclose your personal information to law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for compliance and protection purposes.

Opt out of marketing communications

You may opt out of marketing-related emails by following the opt-out or unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of the email. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails.

Note that because these opt-out mechanisms are specific to the device or browser on which they are exercised, you will need to opt out on every browser and device that you use.

Security

We employ industry-standard technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and continuous monitoring for unauthorized access.

Children

Our website is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected personal information through the website from a child under 13 without the consent of the child's parent or guardian as required by law, we will delete it.

Do Not Track
