SkillGPT is an AI application building and learning platform. Users may upload or input various content (including but not limited to text, files, images, links, audio, video, and voice samples) to use the various functions provided by the Service, including content summarization, transcription, translation, as well as image, audio, video, and slide generation, assisted writing, AI dialogue, note generation, mind map, and chart generation.
To use certain features of the Service, You may be required to register an account. You represent and warrant that all registration information You provide to SkillGPT is true, accurate, complete, and up-to-date. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age for consent to personal data processing in Your country/region) to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account login credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under Your account. You shall not permit any other party to access or use the Service using Your unique username, password, or other security codes. You must immediately notify SkillGPT of any unauthorized use of Your account or any other security breach.
Subject to Your compliance with these Terms, SkillGPT grants You a non-exclusive, limited, non-transferable, freely revocable license to access and use the Service for commercial or personal purposes. SkillGPT reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
You agree not to use SkillGPT in any manner (whether directly or indirectly) to engage in any unlawful, improper, or otherwise prohibited conduct under this Agreement, including but not limited to:
SkillGPT implements industry-standard security measures to protect user data and maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Service. For details on how we collect, use, and protect personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
You may choose to upload Your own content (hereinafter referred to as "User Content"), such as text, files, images, links, audio, video, voice samples, etc. You have full control over and bear full responsibility for Your User Content. You represent and warrant that You have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload, use, and publish User Content, and that Your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legitimate rights of any third party.
Subject to Your compliance with these Terms, You retain ownership of the AI-generated content (hereinafter referred to as "Output") You obtain from the Service and are granted full rights to use, modify, distribute, and commercialize such Output. This includes copying and commercially sharing content, publishing or incorporating it into derivative works, and no attribution to SkillGPT is required unless otherwise agreed.
Due to the nature of our technology and the generality of artificial intelligence, the Output may not be unique, and other users may obtain similar Output from our AI products. Your ownership does not extend to the Output of other users.
If You subscribe to a paid plan, Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle, e.g., monthly or annually (as applicable). We will notify You before Your subscription automatically renews. You may cancel Your subscription at any time, subject to the provisions of subsection (c) below.
Unless otherwise agreed, all taxes are included in Your subscription fees. Tax rates are calculated based on the billing information You provide and the applicable tax rates at the time of Your subscription.
You may stop using the Service and/or cancel Your subscription at any time through Your account settings. If You cancel, Your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle, and You will not be entitled to any refund of fees paid (except as otherwise provided by law), and any unpaid fees will become immediately due and payable.
SkillGPT may offer free trials or pilot programs. SkillGPT reserves the right to set eligibility requirements and durations for free trials and pilot programs.
You may cancel Your subscription at any time through "Profile" → "My Subscriptions" → "Cancel Subscription" or by contacting online customer service. Your cancellation will be effective on the last day of the term for which You have paid. You may continue to use the subscription until the cancellation becomes effective, but You will not receive a refund.
As a SaaS provider, all products and services provided by SkillGPT are non-physical and irrevocable. Therefore, once an order is completed and delivered, we do not offer refunds. We encourage You to carefully read these Terms before making a payment.
Refunds are available within 24 hours of your first purchase only.
All software, code, designs, trademarks, service marks, logos, and all other materials contained in the Service (collectively referred to as "Licensed Content") are owned or licensed by SkillGPT Inc. and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant You a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for lawful purposes.
You retain ownership of all User Content You upload to the Service. By uploading User Content, You grant SkillGPT a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, and perform Your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service. This license shall survive the termination of these Terms.
If You submit any feedback, suggestions, or ideas to Us, You hereby grant SkillGPT a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, and perform such feedback for any purpose without any compensation to You.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and SkillGPT makes no warranties, express or implied. SkillGPT makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Output, and assumes no liability for any liability arising in any way from Your use of the Output or any omissions or errors contained therein. You use the Service and AI product Output at Your own risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and suitability of all Output, and We recommend that You obtain professional independent advice before acting on any advice contained in the Output.
SkillGPT does not warrant that Your use of the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. You understand that SkillGPT is not responsible for delays, interruptions, service failures, or other problems caused by the use of the Internet and electronic communications or other systems beyond SkillGPT's reasonable control.
In the event that SkillGPT suffers any loss or incurs any third-party claims or liabilities due to Your content or Your breach of these Terms, You shall bear all resulting costs (including reasonable attorney's fees) and shall indemnify, defend, and hold SkillGPT harmless. This indemnification obligation applies to: (a) Your breach of these Terms; (b) Your use or access to the Service, including but not limited to User Content You input, post, or generate; (c) Your violation of any applicable laws and regulations or infringement of any legitimate rights of any third party.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillGPT and its directors, officers, employees, agents, suppliers, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption) arising out of or in connection with Your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Service, even if SkillGPT has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall SkillGPT's total liability to You (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) exceed the amount You paid to SkillGPT in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These Terms shall commence on the date You first use the Service and shall remain in effect until terminated in accordance with these Terms.
SkillGPT reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate Your access to the Service if: You breach any provision of these Terms; We have reason to believe that Your account has been used without authorization; We deem it necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Service, other users, or third parties.
You may terminate these Terms at any time by ceasing to use the Service and canceling Your account.
Upon termination, Your right to use the Service shall immediately cease.
The provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification obligations, limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
We may modify these Terms (and any policies or agreements referenced herein) at any time. We will post the latest version of the Terms on skillgpt.io. For any changes that we reasonably determine will materially adversely affect Your rights or Your use of the Service, we will provide You with reasonable advance notice via the Service or to the email address associated with Your account. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any revised Terms constitutes Your agreement to be bound by the new Terms.
SkillGPT may, at any time, add, change, or remove features of the Service; modify or restrict storage space or other functionalities; or completely terminate the Service. If You have a paid subscription and SkillGPT terminates the Service You are using during the subscription period, SkillGPT will migrate the Service or provide You with a similar service (if available). If SkillGPT is unable to do so, You will receive a pro-rata refund of any prepaid fees for the remaining subscription period.
Any dispute, claim, or disagreement arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall first be resolved by friendly negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, either party may submit the dispute to the competent court with jurisdiction in the location of SkillGPT for litigation.
